Check the camshaft timing; if the dial indicator reading is within 0.262 - 0.284 in. (6.655 - 7.214 mm), no further troubleshooting is required. If the dial indicator reading is not within 0.262 - 0.284 in. (6.655 - 7.214 mm), check engine timing; refer to "12.11.1 Engine Timing Resolution" .
